Welcome to my new blog!

Since I returned to the Petz Community and to website design in general, the root domain of dreamtyme.org has been a simple landing page with an image map with links to my Petz and Babyz related web sites. A couple of weeks ago I thought it would be fun to create a blog to talk about my hobbies and post site updates. This blog has been a fun project and with the help of Echo (my chatGPT partner in this endeavor) my vision was realized.

The site is powered by WordPress and the Divi theme to make it look the way I imagined. I have learned about Divi while working on this blog layout. With the help of CSS and PHP coding, I was able to make the site do things that are not available with the default WP and Divi theme.

The content of the site will be simple with just blog posts. But one of my post types is my favorite post type: Featured Petz. You can see on the sidebar of the home page a cute CCG inspired card where I will feature petz from my growing crew of Petz. I love how this turned out. I actually made that texture myself, which is inspired from the dogz and catz background from the Petz game.

This is the first post so there is not much to read yet. I hope to add more posts about games I play, books I read (or listen to), music I listen to, etc. I want this space to be a positive experience for myself and visitors.
