Breed Standard & Scoring:

• Coat Colour: Coat colour must be red. Automatic disqualification for any colour other than red. Barnett Mutts must have at least 2 proper markings (see picture) to earn 3 points. Any dog with less than 2 proper markings is disqualified. Brown and white muzzles are also a serious fault, earning only 1 point. The more proper markings a dog has, the better. In the event of a tie in a show, the winner is the dog with more proper markings. Any dog with markings that are not proper (not in the exact spot as shown on picture) earn 2 points.
• Eye Colour: Eyes must be deep brown (almost red) to earn full points. Dark brown (lighter than deep brown but darker than golden brown) earn 1 point.
• Paw Pads/Eyelids: Paw pads must be brown. Eyelids are Black. This earns 3 points.
• Ears: Barnett Mutts must have mutt ears to earn 3 points. All other ear types earn 0.
• Muzzle: Must have mutt muzzle, earns 3 points
• Head Build: Mutt shaped head only earns 3 points.
• Body Type: Dalmatian body, very skinny when full grown. This earns 3 points. Mutt body and all others earn 0.
• Leg Type: Must have mutt legs and feet to earn 3 points.
• Tail: Should have a dalmatian tail to earn 3 points. All others earn 0.
• Purebred: Traced back to Champ and Brim
