Below are answers to questions you might have.
How do you create your items?
There are guides available on the site that explain how I create items.
Would you host my items?
This site will be for hosting my creations only.
Would you make me a custom item?
Unfortunately, I do not have time to handle requests, but my guides are easy to follow. Give making custom items a try!
May I use your items on my site?
Please do not host these items on your site (this includes direct-linking).
Would you send me the (such and such) file?
I don't send files via email. If you experience trouble downloading files, try back at a later time.
Why won't your playscenes work in my game?
All items have been tested in the appropriate game verison. If you have problems seeing the Petz 4 playscenes in your game, download the APKC Playscene Converter and convert the playscene. This program fixes sound problems too! You shouldn't have these problems with the Petz 5 scenes. If you still have problems, make sure that you are using the correct playscene for your game.
How do I put your downloads into my game?
All my downloads are compressed into ZIP files and there are a variety of utilities available to open them. Unzip the file and copy into the appropriate folder:
- Wallpapers go into the .../Resources/Wallpaper folder
- Playscenes go into the .../Resources/Area folder
- P5 Skins go into the .../Skinz folder
But what about P3 & P4 case skins???
Case skins for P3 and P4 use a modified game file (Petz 3 Rez.dll or Petz 4 Rez.dll). If you have not made any changes to the .dll file, then copy the one you downloaded into the /Petz3/Resource or /Petz4/Resource folder. If you have a customized .dll file already, use Tinker to import the two case files included in the download file. For more information, please read the README.txt included in the case download file. And don't forget to back up any file you are changing!
Can I use your kit items as a base to make other items?
Go ahead and use these items as a base. The more items for the Petz Community the better! Credit is appreciated but not required.
