Why Silly Spots is Special
Silly Spots isn’t just any Petz pup—he’s the pup that started it all. Back in Petz 2, he was my very first adoption, and he quickly became the face of Abby’s Dogz Society in 1998. When I came back to the community in 2023, it only felt right to let him reclaim his title as my mascot. Now at a grand 27 years old, he’s still as mischievous and lovable as ever.
The Trickster Pup Returns
One of my favorite memories is watching Silly Spots do his tricks in Petz 2, especially when he would stick to the screen and slide down. It was his thing. When I imported him into Petz 3, I was devastated to find he lost all of his tricks—something I thought was permanent. But, thanks to Thor’s wizardry in 2023, Silly Spots’ tricks were recovered, and he’s back to his usual antics. Seeing him slide down the screen again after so many years was pure nostalgia.
A Love Story: The Reunion with Gem
Silly Spots’ story wouldn’t be complete without Gem, his mate from 1998. After a tragic file loss, she was gone for over two decades—until Reflet managed to extract her from their children. Now, thanks to some Petz magic, Silly Spots and Gem are back together, and it’s like no time has passed. Since reuniting, they’ve even added more puppies to the family.
Still Going Strong
Silly Spots may be an old man, but he still refuses to listen when I try to get him to pose. Despite being an absolute menace in the show ring, he finally earned his title in December 2024. Even outside of competitions, he’s proven himself with citizen titles from PAAC and PL.
A Legacy That Lives On
From being my first ever pup to making a grand return as my mascot in 2023, Silly Spots will always hold a special place in my heart. Whether he’s showing off his tricks, causing trouble in the show ring, or just being the icon he is, he’s a permanent part of my Petz journey.
