The Great Crew Purge of 2026™ is now complete. My crew is now at 455 petz (down from 1000). Many petz were put up for MPA or returned to their breeders. I tried to honor all the rules for MPA or returning. Thank you to all the people that entrusted me with their babies and I hope that the new owners will find joy and love with their new petz. ♥
I’ve come to the realization that I have too many petz. In the 2-1/2 years since I returned to the Petz Community, I have added more that 950 petz to my crew (petz I’ve bred and adopted in). I fell into the trap of FOMO and also just feeling bad if I see one lone pet available for adopt and I feel bad for them. It’s become unsustainable for me. I cannot give these pixel babies the attention I would like them to get.
I will be putting many petz up for MPA adoption over the next bit. I have already around 80 or so up for adoption and people have been adopting them. Thank you for giving these babies home so they aren’t just files sitting on my computer.
I want to thank Bunni over at Funfetti for allowing me to adopt this little girl. I am really wanting to do more than just breed in Petz 4 and with the activity picker I made, I thought it was the perfect time to naturally raise her. I couldn’t wait to meet her!
When I brought her out, we went to the clothes closet to pick out her personal bow. After trying a few, she decided on the rainbow mini bows.
Since she’s only 21 days old I thought she might like the bottle, but she seems to be saying “Um not a baby!”
Her litter name was Marble and I didn’t want to change it too much. Even though I already have Chi named Marbles, I decided to name her Miss Marbles. I figured Marbles was the perfect pup to introduce her too and I think I was right!
After all the excitement, she took a nap!
I cannot wait to share this more of this journey.
Petz Life had their annual Advent event in December. In addition to all the petz I adopted from the event, there was the end of Petz Camp, NYE 2025 party, and random adoptions from PAAC and PL, I had A LOT of petz to add to the crew page. I finally finished today. There are 144 new petz added. Now maybe I should start playing.
The 30th anniversary of the release of Dogz, the title that started our beloved game series, is just around the corner. I’m working on a few things to celebrate!
